The date of Wyatt's death had been doubtful for some time - giving 2 possible years - in a 'cemetery survey' done in 1990. Probate documents found verifies that Wyatt died 16 Jan 1852 though according to court documents he died 'intestate' - [without a will]. By 1854, widow, Elizabeth remarried.
Cemetery information was obtain from a book written by Mildred J. Miller and Pat M. Crooks, Time Is, Time Was: Gravestone Art, Burial Customs and History: Iredell County, North Carolina (1990)." and indicate they did the original survey of this cemetery. The date for Wiot's death was registered at that time as either 1852 or '59. Probate documents that his death was verified as 1852. Cemetery was determined about 2000 in Iredell County Cemetery Books as being 'Lost-Abandoned'.
