BLANCHARD, LA – A Memorial Service for Ada Bess (Bobbie) Talbert will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Jun 23, 2014 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gene Nix officiating. The family will be receiving friends at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Blanchard Memorial Cemetery.
Ada was born on September 20, 1928 to Marion Cummings and William Zachariah Adcock in Hall Summit, LA. She was the baby of 14 children. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 18, 2014.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings. She is survived by her children Marion (Bubba) Talbert and wife Linda, Dennis Ray Talbert and wife Nita and Charmaine Talbert Hopkins and husband Lonnie, grandchildren Kevin Talbert, Shane Talbert, Amy Smith, Emily McShane, Brandi Hopkins, David Talbert and Molly Talbert, nine great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Manor Stratmore and Harmony Life Hospice for the comfort and care they have shown.
