Anna was the daughter of Abraham Gould, Junior and Anna Osborne Gould. Her parents had relocated to Roxbury about 1789 from Fairfield, Connecticut. Her father was the owner and operator of a farm on West Settlement Road about two miles out of Roxbury. Anna married to John Laraway More on 11 January 1816. They made their home on a farm adjoining that of her father-in-law, John Taylor More. Anna and John were the parents of four children; Cornelia More, Taylor More, Edwin More, and Wilson Page More.
