JoAnn Gaskill, 70, of Thorne Rd., Morgantown passed away at home on Friday, June 27, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 23, 1944 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Hershel and Evelyn Williams Jackson.

JoAnn was a homemaker and loved caring for her family and her grandchildren. She enjoyed working with crafts and loved flowers. One of her favorite pastimes was feeding and watching the hummingbirds visit the feeders which she had set out.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Gaskill, whom she married January 7, 1965; three daughters, Joyce King and spouse Martin of Morgantown, June Butler of Stafford, VA, and Rhonda Brockett and spouse Roy of Morgantown; two sons, Brian Gaskill and spouse Monica of Morgantown, and Michael Gaskill and spouse Shelley of Fairmont; two sisters, Ethel Neer and June Adkins; one brother, Virgil Jackson; and grandchildren, Hannah, Veronica, Martin, Adric, and Dylan King, Nick Butler, Roy, Chantz, MeKinzee, Lillianna, and Rylan Brockett, Chuckie Lanham and fiancee' Vanessa Brooks, Anjelika Deavers and spouse Michael, and Michael, Morgan, Shaine, and Skylor Gaskill; and great grandchildren, Zander and Nikolai Lanham, and Ryleigh Deavers.

JoAnn was preceded in death by three sisters, Catherine Drvar, Helen Frymyer, and Irene Nottingham; and three brothers, Eugene, Earl(Florida), and James Jackson.
