Evelyn Ann Wehmeier Putney Eades, 82, of Peoria, passed away June 26, 2014 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born January 6, 1932 in Stanford, IL, the daughter of Verner August & Belva Lucille (Bridges) Wehmeier, she married Ernest Junior Putney on June 1, 1956. He died March 16, 1988.

She later married Leonard Eades. He died Dec. 5, 1992. She is survived by nine children: William (Colleen) of Trivoli, Becky Rhoades of Metamora, Dara Knoll of Bartonville, Debbie Hodgkins of Bartonville, Cindy Behrll of Peoria, Terry Putney of Louisiana, Cathy Shelby of Creve Coeur, Teresa Myers of Bartonville, and James Putney of Ohio.

Evelyn also was preceded in death by her parents, one borther James Wehmeier, one sister Dara Manker, & a great-granddaughter. She worked as a waitress all her life. She last worked at the Garden Street Coffee Shop for many years until retirement. Evelyn was called "Granny" by everyone.

Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery.
