GLENNVILLE - Terry Cason 57, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. He was born December 13, 1956 one of eleven children to James Harry and Redetha Bath Cason. He was a graduate of Glennville High School and retired from Georgia Department of Transportation as a Maintenance Foreman. He was a member of the Rising Sun Masonic Lodge #32 and the Tattnall County Shrine Club. He served in the Georgia National Guard for six years, was a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for Tattnall County, a Volunteer at the Glennville Recreation Department and Brazell Creek Golf Course. He was a member and Chairman of the Deacons of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by, sister and brother-in-law, Catherine & Wilmer Weathers, brothers and sister-in-law, Jolly and Barbara Ann Cason, Robbie Lee Cason, James Cason, Kyle Cason, and brother-in-law, Sonny Williams. He is survived by, Wife: Sandra Cason; Children: Redetha DeDe Waters, Daniel Cason and Rebecca Lee; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Dwight (Kathy) Cason, Larry Cason, Roger & Jeanene Cason, Joan Cason and Leola Cason; Sisters and Brother-in-law: Virginia & Jerry Bragg, Juanita Williams; Grandchildren: Patrick Sikes, David Sikes, Summer Hollis, Dylan Lee, Maggie Lee and Mallorie Lee; Nieces and Nephews: Jack Weathers, Jeff and Georgia Weathers, Kitty and John O'Hare; Best Friends: Henry Strickland, Joey Anderson, Terry Porter and Dana Simmons; Several other nieces, nephews, cousins also survive. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am, Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
