LECLAIRE, Ralph Charles of Tawas City, formerly of Flint, age 71, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Tawas, Friday, August 8, 2008. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 1 PM Monday, August 11, 2008 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, Rev. Fr. George Puraidam M.S.F.S. officiating. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Mr. LeClaire will lie in state at Allen Funeral Home where the family will receive visitors Sunday from 6-9 PM and on Monday one hour prior to the service. Ralph was born in Escanaba, Michigan November 3, 1936, son of Dona (Don) and Ada (Belanger) LeClaire. He attended Rock Michigan Schools. Ralph married Dorothy Kopina in 1982, and she preceded him in death in 2003. He was a proud member of Moose Lodge Chapter 2102 of Tawas. Surviving are son, Scott LeClaire of Ocean City, MD; 2 stepdaughters, Marie (Johnny) Caudle of Burton, Tammy Kopina of Burton, stepson, Michael (Lori) Kopina of Tawas City; grandchildren, Emily and Stephen LeClaire of Traverse City; brothers and sisters, Lionel (Brenda) of Lapeer, Bernard (Barbara) of Gladstone, MI, Mary Sevo of Burton, Gerald (Leta) of Rock, MI, Eunice (Kelly) Elledge of Rock, MI; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friend, Davey Harper. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; son, Stephen; brother-in-law Jim Sevo. Special thanks to Michael and Lori Kopina for their care and concern for Ralph.
