Mrs. Josephine H. Nolan, 90, of 1605 S. 4th St. died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Rutledge Manor.
She was born in Springfield, the daughter of George and Josephine Byer Sherf.
Her husband, John, preceded her in death in 1936.
She was a member of Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Altar Society, and St. Boniface Branch, Western Catholic Union.
She is survived by three sons, John and Robert, both of Springfield, and Dr. Paul of Norfolk, Va.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Rev. William Hamilton officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
