Businessman. A native of Chicago, Illinois, he founded the Kapp Record Company in New York with his brother David in 1955. The company licensed its records to London Records in England, before it was sold to MCA Records in 1967. Jack Kapp though is more notable for establishing the American Decca Records 1934.
