TWO GIRLS BURN IN HOME.

Bloomington, ILL., July 29.-[Special.]-Two girls, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Streib, perished in a fire which destroyed the Streib home at Fairbury, 25 miles northeast of Bioomington, between 11 p. m. and 12 p. m. last night. The dead are Josephine, 12, and Helen, 8.

The parents, operators of a filling station and restaurant adjacent to the home, were in the restaurant when the blaze started. The other children of the family, William, 10, and Leona, 17, were not in the house. Witnesses said the two children in the house, trapped by the flames, apparently were too frightened to jump to safety although helpless bystanders urged them. S. A. Denler, Fairbury fire chief, carried one of the bodies from the flaming structure, but the child was already dead.
