FORREST - Leona Evelyn Ricketts, 77, of Forrest died at 9:18 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 30, 1993) at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Forrest Apostolic Christian Church, with church ministers officiating. Burial will be in North Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Culkin-Diggle Funeral Home, Forrest, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ricketts was born Sept. 14, 1916, at Fairbury, a daughter of Henry and Mary Stoller Streib. She married Meredith Ricketts Oct. 24, 1941, at St. Charles, Mo. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Nick, Forrest, and Jon, Washington; two daughters, Mary Masters, Roswell, Ga., and Jeanne Langhofer, Wichita, Kan.; a brother, William Streib, Fairbury; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

One daughter and five sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ricketts was a homemaker.

She was educated in rural Fairbury schools and was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
