GRANGEVILLE: Lucile E. Kaschmitter born Feb. 20, 1923 in Ronan Mt. died suddenly May 27, 2006 at Syringa General Hospital in Grangeville, Idaho. She was 83.

Lucile loved sewing, cooking, playing cards and enjoying the company of her friends. She was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Alter Society and acting President, President of the Idaho County Home Extension Club,Allano 500 card club, Fenn Domestic Club, Idaho County Cow Bells, Activities director for Park Hill manner and sang in the church choir at St. Mary’s in Cottonwood throughout her 83 years.

She now joins her loving husband George who passed away June 20, 2003. She is survived byher sons Ray Kaschmitter and his wife Tracy, and children Amanda, Holly and Ryan all of Roseville, CA. Andy Kaschmitter and his wife Wendy and their children Joshua, Nathan, Cassandra, Eric, Daniel, Elizabeth and Thomas, all of Grangeville. She is also survived by three sisters Bernice, Louis and Marion and four brothers Billy, Lloyd, Marvin, and Richard. She is preceded in death by her mother Eleonora, father Anthony and brother Francis.

A rosary will be said Thursday, June 1st at 7:30 pm at Sts. Peter and Paul parish. The funeral mass will be held Saturday, June 3rd at 11:00 at Sts. Peter and Paul with an inurnment to follow
