Louise T. Davis passed away on April 2, 2014 with her children by her side. She was born to Anthony and Eleanor Ackerman on June 12, 1927 in Kentmore, North Dakota. She graduated high school from Grangeville, ID in 1945. Louise married Thomas Davis on February 23, 1949 they moved to Kittitas County in 1959 and raise their 6 children. After all her children were in school Louise went to work at Morgan Middle School in the cafeteria where she could still keep an eye on her kids. When the Grandchildren started coming through the lunch line she decided it was time to retire. Tom and Louise bought their first motorhome and enjoyed many years as snowbirds. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Davis, son Allen Davis and Grandson Jesse Davis, as well as two sisters and two brothers. Louise leaves behind daughters Terry (Jeff) Wood Yakima, Debi (Kelly) Barneycastle Ellensburg, Sue (Rick) West Wenatchee, sons Jim (Barbara) Davis Wenatchee and Mike (Donna) Davis Ellensburg, 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all of us.
A private family service will be held in May. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kittitas Valley Hospice, 401 E. Mt View #3 Ellensburg, WA 98926 or Central Washington Hospital Hospice, 1020 N. Wenatchee Ave. Wenatchee, WA 98801.
