Mrs. E. A. Jenkins Dies at Ellard
Splendid Wife and Mother Succumbs on July 26th - Burial at Concord.
Bruce, Miss., July 29. - Mrs. Andrew Jenkins died at her home in the Ellard community Friday afternoon. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. A. D. Jacks , assisted by Rev. Roane, were held at Concord Saturday afternoon, with Thornton Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Jenkins was a fine christian lady. She was a devoted companion and the mother of eleven children. She was loved by all who knew her. Her health during the latter years of her life was very poor and she was in bed a great deal of the time, but through her long suffering she retained her patient, kind, and lovable disposition.
Mrs. Jenkins will be missed, but the spirit of her good life will live on in those she left behind - her husband, eleven children, and many grand-children. The grand-children served as pallbearers and flower girls.
