Cecil T. McRae, 68, of Victoria died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 1996.
He was born Sept. 18, 1927, in Mobile, Ala., to the late Caldwell and Ellen Rogers McRae. He graduated from Sam Houston State University. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in the Korean Conflict. Mr. McRae was a retired operator from Union Carbide, having served 36 years. He was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors: wife, Lavonia Weaver McRae; daughters, Lisa Downs of Yoakum and Susie Terry of Victoria; sons, Kevin McRae of Corpus Christi; sister, June Metcalf of Houston and seven grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: sister, Marjorie Schwartz.
Family visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
The body will be at the funeral home until 12:30 p.m. Monday, then taken to John Wesley United Methodist Church for the 2 p.m. services, the Rev. Richard Strait officiating.
Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Victoria, 573-4545.
