The funeral of Mary, wife of John J Durkin, of Mahanoy City, took place from the family residence in that town this morning and was attended by many people of this place. Requiem high mass was celebrated in St. Canicus church and the remains were brought to this town for interment in the Annunciation cemetery. The pall bearers were William J. Galvin and Thomas Mullahy, of town; Timothy Murphy, of Tremont; and John Horgan, Timothy J. Ryan and D. M. Graham, of Mahanoy City.
