ERVIN WACHTEL
Ervin Wachtel, 65, lifelong town of Two Rivers farmer, residing on Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died at St. Nicholas Hospital at Sheboygan at 1 a.m. Wednesday where he had been a patient since Monday.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Beduhn, Deja and Martin Inc., Funeral Chapel, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. C. V. Hugo officiating. Interment will be in Holy
Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Ervin Wachtel was born in the town of Two Rivers in 1887, a son of Frank and Anna Benzinger Wachtel. In 1911 he married Miss Alma Kornely, the couple remaining on the homestead farm where Mr. Wachtel had resided his entire life.
Besides his wife he leave one daughter, Mrs. Gladys (Paul) Wilfert, Rt. 2, Two Rivers; three sons, Roland, Paul and Raymond Wachtel, all of Rt. 2, Two Rivers; and a sister, Mrs. Arthur Kortens, town of Kossuth. There are four grandchildren.
For many years Mr. Wachtel was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Luke Church.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Friday until the time of services. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Friday.
