ALMA WACHTEL
Mrs. Alma Wachtel, 94, formerly of 7628 Sunset Dr., Route 2, Two Rivers, died early Thursday morning, October 16, at Hamilton Memorial Home where she had resided the past six years.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels and 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Wachtel, nee Alma Kornely, was born July 28, 1886, in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Peter and Mary Hessel Kornely. She attended rural schools and was married to Ervin Wachtel Nov. 7, 1911, at Francis Creek. He preceded her in death Nov. 26, 1952. Mrs. Wachtel was a member of Ladies of Holy Redeemer.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Beatrice Wachtel of Two Rivers and Gladys and Paul Wilfred of Route 2, Two Rivers; two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Raymond Wachtel of Two Rivers and Mrs. Roland Wachtel Freimuth of Mishicot, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Two sons and a grandson preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, where a memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m.
