The two-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Gordon of Mountain View, was struck and instantly killed by an eastbound passenger on the Rock Island at 5:17 o’clock Monday evening. The child was crossing the track with her little brother and sister when the accident occurred. The body was thrown to the bottom of the embankment, but was not mangled. The engineer of the train saw the child but too late to stop.
