Margie Fields Huffstetler, 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2014.

Born in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Herschel and Linda Ross Fields.

Mrs. Huffstetler retired from Precision Seals and was an avid gardener and cook.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Huffstetler was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Neil Huffstetler, and a number of brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Huffstetler is survived by her son, Robert Elliotte of Gastonia; daughter, Judy Rhom of Gastonia; step-son, Donald Charles Huffstetler of Lake Wylie, SC' step-daughter, Marilyn H. Gordon of Clover, SC; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends of Mrs. Huffstetler are invited to attend her visitation beginning at 10:00 AM Monday at Crowders Creek ARP Church with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary. Rev. Charles Evans will officiate. Burial will follow at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
