William Young, 77, farmer, died Thursday evening, Jan 25, 1945, in his home eight miles south of Cannelton after a week’s illness. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Laura Young; two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Gruber and Mrs. Lavera Bubenzer, of Rome; three sons, William, in the Philippines, Arthur Lee in Hawaii, and Prof. Orville Young, of Norman, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Hayes, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Elizabeth Sipple, of Cloverport, Ky., and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon in the home, with Rev. G. D. Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton.
