Mrs. Virgil Hardin, 58 – Mrs. A.D. Smith Hardin, 58 of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Grassy Mountain Holiness Church by the Rev. Delmus Davis. Burial was in the Panquin Cemetery directed by Carr Funeral Home. Mrs. Hardin was born in Etowah County. She was married in 1920 to Virgil Hardin of Grant. Mrs. Hardin is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. R.M. Smith of Grant; two daughters, Olene Hardin and Miss Chessie Lee Hardin, both at home; four sons, Eddie Lee Hardin and L.D. Hardin, both of Grant and Elbert Hardin and William Hardin, both of Guntersville; a brother, Monroe Smith of Grant; six sisters, Mrs. Delia Key and Mrs. Bertha Saint, both of Grant, Mrs. Ola B. Saint of Albertville, Mrs. Cora Lemaster of Boaz, Mrs. Leora Hill of Gadsden and Mrs. Chessie Hayes of Memphis and 7 grandchildren.
