Services for Lenore Layman, 76, of Lakeview Community Nursing Home, Lawton, formerly of Benton Harbor, who died Sunday afternoon in Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Newell Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be in Crystal Springs Cemeteiy.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Mrs. Layman was born Aug. 11. 1917, in Sodus Township, Berrien County. She married Carl Layman, who died July 27, 1978.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Chrestman of McMinnville, Tenn.; two sons, William Krieger of Rogers City, Mich., and Harry Layman of Paw Paw; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Violet Crow of Benton Harbor and Alta Mae Whitmore of Jacksonville, Fla. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Post 105 Auxiliary and a member of the Moose.
