Alline Johnson, 78, of Greystone Road, Greeneville, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Annie and Vernon Jennings and Jackie and Danny Waites of Greeneville; grandson: Johnny Jennings and wife Teresa; granddaughter: Melissa Cosby; great granddaughter: Ashlyn Cosby; brother: Perry Miller of Mosheim; sister: Pauline Buckner of Greeneville; sister-in-law: Joyce Johnson of Greeneville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

She was the daughter of the late Willie and Cora Miller and was preceded in death by her husband: Henry Jack Johnson; great granddaughter: Alexis Cosby; and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at Cedar Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Stocton and Rev. Gene Swatzell officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery.

Her pallbearers will be Roy Weems, Johnny Tarlton, Willis King, Gary Hensley, Jimmy Inscore, and Jerry Buckner.
