James "Jack" Willam Bailey, Sr., 91 died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at St. Dominic Hospital. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be at 2pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Mr. Bailey was a lifelong member of Eastside Baptist Church. He was a member of the John P. Byrd Masonic Lodge #0629; Scottish Rite; Wahabi Shrine Temple; and Wahabi Clown Unit where he was known as "Smilin Jack". Mr. Bailey retired from Knox Glass.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lemmie Bailey and Minnie Bailey Rogers and stepfather, Oree Rogers; wife of 65 years, Katherine Cutrer Bailey; and grandson, Richie Dyess.

He is survived by his daughters, Linda Sue Dyess and Sandra "Sandy" Parish (Winston); son, James Bailey, Jr. (Sandra); 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
