Linda Sue Dyess White, 68, passed from this life Sunday, September 11, 2016, while surrounded by her husband, family, and friends at home.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm, today, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Wednesday, September 14, 2016, in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Linda was born Thursday, August 12, 1948, in Jackson, a daughter of the late, James and Katherine Bailey, and was a 1966 graduate of Pearl High School. She worked for Allstate Insurance for more than 30 years. She was then employed for 12 years with St. Dominic Hospital. Linda had a passion for music, and her tastes varied widely over the years. She also enjoyed traveling and was always up for a new adventure.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Harris "Richie" Dyess.
Survivors include husband, Charles R. "Chuck" White, Sr.; son, Derrick Dyess and wife, Corrie; step-children, Precia Pedersen and Charles R. White, Jr.; brother, James Bailey and wife, Sandra; sister, Sandy Parish and husband, Winston; grandchildren, Caleb, Brendan and Harrison Dyess; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their sincerest thanks to the special friends and long-time caregivers who loved and supported Linda and the family throughout her illness.
