Update 3/23/17 from a Find-A-Grave member, Melissa C: Abraham served as a Private with the Reading Militia during the Lexington Alarm. They arrived at Merriam's Corner, in Concord, where they engaged the retreating British, 19 April, 1775. He marched to NY & NJ. Discharged at Morristown, NJ, 1777.

Parents: John Eaton, Jr. (1723-1754) and Elizabeth Boutwell (1726-1814), both from Reading, MA. John Eaton, Sr. was Abraham's grandfather.
