"WYNANTSKILL - Mrs. Barbara Williamson Maycock, who was a Brownie leader and a volunteer for many years at Samaritan Hospital, died Monday at home. Mrs. Maycock, of Gardner Road, formerly of Watervliet, was 75. Mrs. Maycock was a 1944 graduate of Watervliet High School. She worked for the National Bank of Watervliet and Tek-Hughes in Watervliet. Mrs. Maycock also worked at the local post office during the busy Christmas period. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of the North Greenbush Seniors and the Christian Endeavor. Mrs. Maycock was a member of the First Reformed Church in Wynantskill and attended St. Timothy's Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Thomas 'Ted' Maycock Jr.; two daughters, Karen Ann Maycock of Wynantskill and Bonnie Carson of Troy; three sisters, Beatrice Gray of Defreestville, Shirley Wilson of Ballston Lake and Ruth Larkin of Lincolnshire, Ill.; two grandchildren; and a great granddaughter. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 470 Winter Street Extension, North Greenbush. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Bryce Funeral Home, Pawling at Maple avenues, Troy. Burial will be in Eagle Mills Cemetery ..."
