Daughter of Christian David Sharpe and Sarah Caroline "Carrie" Sharpe, buried in unmarked graves, Mt. Pleasant UMC, Camp Ground Road, Richland County, SC (formerly Camp Ground Methodist) where she attended church during her youth, and lived in the Camp Ground Community of Richland County. She was one of eleven (11) children. She married William Frederick Stone, brother of Reverend Isaac "Ike" Newton Stone, and they had one child, William Samuel Stone, who married Sallie Elizabeth Campbell.
Carrie and William are buried at Mt. Horeb UMC cemetery, Lexington, SC next to Ike and Amanda Stone.
