Faye Midgley, 88, of Abilene, formerly of Ballinger, passed away Tuesday February 14, 2006 in Abilene.

She was born on October 3, 1917 in Canyon, Texas to John Wesley Nickson and Edna Mae Farnham Nickson Chambers. She married James Midgley on March 12, 1946 in Dallas. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1996. She was a homemaker and a member of Ninth Street Church of Christ in Ballinger.

Survivors include her daughter, Marlene Butcher, and husband, Bob of Clyde, grandchildren; Nathan, Sarah, and Elizabeth Butcher all of Clyde. A special niece, Sandra Sams of Scurry and other numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

Visitation will be at 7:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Lange Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday February 17, 2006 at Ninth Street Church of Christ with Max Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.

The family requests that Memorials be made to Ninth Street Church of Christ in Ballinger, for various missions.
