HIGHLAND — Urban G. McGuire, age
62, of Highland, Wisconsin, died on
Tuesday, July 25, 1989, in Memorial
Hospital, Dodgeville, following a long
illness. Mr. McGuire was born in
Highland, on September 28, 1926, to Leo
J. and Magdalene (Moore) McGuire. On
October 22, 1955, he was married to the
former Delores "Dolly" Plaza of
Hawkins, Wisconsin. The couple lived
their entire married life in Highland
where he was employed as an auto
mechanic. He was preceded in death by
a brother, Emanuel in 1944; a sister,
Joan Egan on August 23,1959; and by his
father, on December 10, 1960. He Is
survived by his wife, Delores "Dolly" of
Highland; three daughters, two sons, his
mother, Magdalene of Highland; three
brothers, Harold (Letta) of Las Vegas,
Nevada, Ronald (Betty) of Highland,
and David of Highland; and two sisters,
Mary (Clayton) Gundlach of Mineral
Point, and Rosemary (Jerome)
Laufenberg of Highland.
