Bernard Miller, 69, of rural Blue River, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 1992 at Boscobel Memorial Hospital. Bernard was born Sept. 30, 1922 in Richwood Township, Richland County, the son of Charles and Ruby (Dyer) Miller. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was employed by Oscar Mayer Meats in Madison for 32 years. He was a member of the Blue River American Legion and Blue River United Methodist Church. Bernard is survived by a daughter, Elaine (Craig) Smith of Fremont, Calif, and two sisters, Genevieve Zintz, Boscobel, and Audrey (Ray) Little of Bensonville, Ill. He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother Verlin and twin brother Byron. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan 7 at Blue River United Methodist Church with burial following at Haskins Cemetery, rural Blue River. Pastor Tim VandenLangenberg officiated.
