"Virginia A. Harris, 67, formerly of 465 Noble av., died June 15, at Will-O-Rest Nursing Home, after a long illness. She was born in Hamilton, W. Va. Mrs. Harris had been a resident of Akron for 50 years. She is survived by husband, Walter; daughter, Daetta, of Ashland, O.; daughter, Shirley Cox; sister, Irene Kittle; brother, Earl Sowers; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Condolences may be sent to 1048 Frederick blvd. Graveside services will be Friday, 10:30 a.m. at East Liberty Cemetery. No calling hours or flowers."
