Nina Cecil Atterson was the daughter of my Grandfather William "Will" Atterson and his first wife Queen Elizabeth Woody-Atterson, who was the daughter of Severe and Mary Woody.

My Great Aunt, Marjorie Grace Woody, born in 1902, told me in the 1980's that her mother Queen hemorrhaged after Nina was born and never recovered. There were no doctors in the area at that time. She told me Nina died four-months after she was born and Queen died 3-days later.

Grace informed me the family made sure Nina was buried with Queen in the same grave. There is no separate marker or any indication on Queen's grave stone for this baby so this is my tribute to her.
