WAYNESBORO, Pa. - George T. Bonebrake, 47, of 314 Fairview Ave., died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, at Waynesboro Hospital.

Born Oct. 13, 1953, in Waynesboro, he was the son of Richard D. Bonebrake Sr. and Anna J. Thomas Bonebrake.

He was a 1971 graduate of Waynesboro Area High School.

In recent years, he was a home caregiver, taking care of his parents. He also had worked at Bob Evans in Hagerstown; Hardies in Waynesboro; and was a professional clown for many years.

He was a member of both Christ United Methodist Church in Waynesboro and Faith Chapel in Hagerstown.

He was a member and past consoler of Sons and Daughters of Liberty Waynesboro Chapter, and State Chapter.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Rose Marie Bonebrake of Huntsville, Ala.; a brother, Richard L. Bonebrake Jr. of York, Pa.; two aunts; nieces; nephews and cousins.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, corners of South Church and West Second streets in Waynesboro. The Revs. Jay Zimmerman and Bob Ridnhour will officiate. Burial will be in Smithsburg Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lochstampfor Funeral Home, corners of South Church and West Second streets in Waynesboro.
