A native of Huntingburg, she was born 15 June 1941, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary (Helmerich) Hoffhaus.
She was a 1959 graduate of Huntingburg High School.
She retired as secretary for St. John's Lutheran Church, Evanston, where she was a member and active in Lutheran Women Missionary League and numerous church activities. She was a seamstress, cake decorator and was an avid doll collector. She was a member of Southern Indiana Doll Club, Happy Homemakers Club and past member of the Arts and Crafts Association.
Surviving is her husband of 39 years, a daughter of Tell City, a son of Evanston, IN; a sister of Huntingburg and three grandchildren.
Services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Evanston, IN. Pastor Marc Freiberg sr. Officiated. Burial in Church Cemetery.
