[SUMMARY]
Gilbert Herman Hoffhaus, 73, a retired farmer of Huntingburg, died today at the Huntingburg Medco Center.
Mr. Hoffhaus was born at Huntingburg Nov. 1, 1910, to Conrad and Carrie (Prior) Hoffhaus. His wife, the former Mary Helmerich, died June 20, 1941. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dianne Birchler and Mrs. Shirley Puertzer and three grandchildren.
He was the last surviving member of his family.
Nass and Sons Funeral Home in Huntingburg; burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
