Aline Graves McDonald Griffin, 92, of Frankfort died March 25, 2005, at her residence following a long illness. A native of Franklin County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Westview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, John “Big John” Griffin, three grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Bell Graves, seven sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services were held March 29 at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Billy Perkins, Tom Hall and Linda Woodard officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery in Franklin County. Honorary bearers were Kim Sutton, Hunter Sutton, Reagen Sutton, Lajeana Best, Burlita Best and Dorothy Jones. Active bearers were Jeff Sutton, Bill Karsner, Scotty Smither, Frosty Cardwell, Scotty Sams, Tom Best, Elmer Thompson and Allen Tyson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass or the Westview Baptist Church.
