Harlan P. Ashworth, 60, formerly of Chattanooga, died in an Atlanta Hospital Saturday. Funeral services and burial were held in Atlanta Sunday. Mr. Ashworth, a native of Ranger, Ga., had been a furniture refinisher in Atlanta for the past few years. He served four years in the Navy in World War I.
He is survived by he's wife, Mrs. Violet Ashworth; three sisters, Mrs. Q.P. Hopper, Chattanooga, Mrs. W.T. Merritt, Signal Mountain and Mrs. E.L. Gilliam, Copperhill; and three brothers, Carl C. Ashworth, Avondale, Ga., Wendell Ashworth, Dalton, Ga., and J.B. Ashworth, Miami, Fl.
