Ethel Cummings, 60, passed away Monday, January 9, 2006. Cummings was born February 27, 1945, in Valliant, Oklahoma to Curtis Elmo and Willie Mae Hubbard. She moved to Abilene from Slaton, Texas in 1996, and had been employed by Allsups Convenience Stores for the past eight years. Survivors include two sons, Joe DeBusk and Marvin DeBusk, both of Abilene; three daughters, Wanda Gayle Riddle of Houston, Nelda Bryant of Eastland and Ashley Hood of Abilene; a brother, Bill Hubbard of Slaton; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
