There are no markers for Colonel Bryant or his wife in the Village Cemetery, yet there is a significant family monument on the east edge of a large family plot near the front of the cemetery. Within the plot are stone markers for the Colonel's parents and a brother, and a funeral parlor marker for the Colonel's daughter, Mrs. Ruby Francis. Obituaries in the local papers stated that Colonel Bryant was buried in this cemetery.
