Anthony McQueen was a civil war veteran (Company A, 331st Regiment of the Wisconsin Volunteers as a Private for three years) and ultimately died from a chronic illness contracted during his service time. His limestone headstone is barely legible. Most likely his wife's headstone (Eleanor Pring 1828-1888) was adjacent to his but time has eradicated any nearby headstones.

Anthony McQueen married Eleanor Pring on 02 Aug 1849 in Van Wert County, Ohio.

Their children were as follows: Richard S. McQueen, Mary Elizabeth 'Lib' McQueen, William Thomas McQueen, Albert McQueen, Almina 'Mina' McQueen & Melissa T. McQueen.

Anthony McQueen's parents were Anthony McQueen (1800-1888) & Elizabeth Tindall (1795-1854)

Eleanor Pring's parents were Richard Pring (1798-1875) & Mary Ann Kear (1804-1863).
