MARJORIE SIZE HICKLING
1932 – 2013

Marjorie Size Hickling, born April 23, 1932 in Salford, Manchester, England, to Charles Hubert Size and Matilda Hughes Size, departed this world October 17, 2013 and Heaven has received another beauty! Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Stanley Lee Hickling and a host of siblings.
She is survived by her children, Carl Hickling (Carol) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Linda Mulvihill (Rick) of Pensacola, Florida; Nancy Hurn (Don) of Little Rock, Arkansas; David (Sonja) Hickling of Bradenton, Florida and Michelle Preston (Ronnie) of Pensacola Florida, with whom Marjorie lived and was cared for the last 6 years. She leaves to cherish her memory 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two sisters, Lillian Stine of Everett, Washington and her beloved identical twin sister, Muriel Underwood Pierson (Bill) of Austin, Texas who loved her so and will miss her "wombmate."
Marjorie also leaves behind Angela Wise, her precious, tender helper of later years to whom the family owes a debt of appreciation.
Marjorie was known for her striking beauty, wit and charm. She arrived in the U.S. in 1951 as the wife of an American soldier. She was involved in Military Wives organizations throughout her husband's career and moved extensively and enjoyed traveling and living in many parts of the world. Some highlights of her life included becoming Miss Georgia Peach in the 1950's, volunteering for the Red Cross as a Gray Lady in the 1960's and enjoying the Breakfast Club in Austin Texas in the 1980's.
The family enjoyed seeing a significant change in Marjorie's focus in the last few years. She exhibited a great interest in the things of God. Her thirst for knowledge of biblical issues were continual and her spiritual growth was evident by her comments that showed understanding and application of biblical principles.
We are encouraged to realize she has now begun an eternity of fellowship with her family and friends and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will all miss her greatly.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Interment will be at 9:30 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2013 at Bayview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a wonderful organization: Council on Aging at 132 Mintz Lane, Cantonment, FL 32533.
