Joyce Coker Norwood, 66, of 105 Kimble Drive, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Ellie Roy and Grace Ellison Coker. She retired from the Millikin Company, Hillcrest Plant, and was a member of Lighthouse P.H.C.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Dale Mahaffey of Simpsonville, Rhonda and Winferd Jones of Piedmont; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn (Bubba) and Kandy Norwood of Fountain Inn; grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Tony, Tonya, Kevin, Randy and Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Devin and Kaitlyn.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Roy Earl Coker, Melvin Coker, Lewis Coker and Donald Coker.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Lighthouse P.H.C., with Pastor Perry Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home, and will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
