The funeral of Mrs. F.E. Tirrell, wife of former Councilman Frank Tirrell, who died at the family home at the corner of Clark Ave. and Miller streets Sunday, will take place tomorrow afternoon from the residence at 230 o'clock. Rev. Proctor of the Baptist church will conduct the services and the body will be laid to rest in Woodlawn cemetery. The pallbearers will be Fred Davis, J. Frank Morris, Bert Landmann, I.E. Hyatt, Frank Goodin, D. Britton.
Mrs. Tirrell had been a sufferer from Bright's disease for some time and her demise was not unexpected. She was a woman of excellent character and leaves a host of friends to mourn her end.
She was born in Salem, Mass., in 1857 and was married to Mr. Tirrell in 1887 at Weymouth, Mass. She came west with her husband to Jefferson City many years ago.
Besides her husband, she leaves four children. They are Mrs. J.H. Livingston, W. Fred Tirrell and Mill Nell Tirrell, of this city and Mrs. Ethel Hall of the State of Nevada. Two brothers, George Wilson of Chelsea, Mass., and Fred Wilson of Concord, N.H., also survive.
