BOLES, Delia Ethel, 99, of Newport, died Friday, December 8, 1995 in Heritage Hall Health Care. She was born March 25, 1896 in Newport, Va. where she lived most of her life. She resided in Blacksburg and Christiansburg after the highway took her home in Newport. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ-Apostolic, Christiansburg. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William H. Furrow and John W. Boles, a son, Charlie C. Furrow and an adopted son, (nephew) Ira E. Shepherd. She is survived by three daughters and son-in-law, Hazel Keister, Christiansburg, Kathleen Hypes, Bertha and Yancy Lafon, all of Newport; three sons and four daughters-in-law, Clarence W. and Minnie Furrow, Irvin (Red) and Janice Furrow, all of Newport, Robert H. and Ella Furrow, Elsie Furrow, all of Blacksburg; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, 1995 at 12 noon at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
