Hazel Christina Furrow Keister, 77, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, February 29, 2000 in Montgomery Regional Hospital. The daughter of the late William Henry Furrow and Delia Ethel Furrow Boles, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles C. Furrow as well as her husband, Oscar E. "Sky" Keister.

She is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Clarence and Minnie Furrow, Irvin J. and Janice Furrow, all of Newport, Robert H. and Ella Furrow, Blacksburg; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathleen F. Hypes, Bertha F. and Yancey Lafon, all of Newport; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2 at the Horne Funeral Chapel conducted by Pastor Leroy Peters with interment to follow in West View Cemetery, Radford. Friends may call anytime after twelve noon Wednesday at the Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.
