Blanche Cole Ledbetter Jordan, 98, of Swannanoa passed away on Tuesday, August 19th at Asheville Health Care Center in Swannanoa.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas Cleveland Sr. and Lula Hudgins Cole. She was also preceded in death by her late husband’s Roy Ledbetter and Cline Jordan, her brother T.C. Cole, sisters Adaline Bingham, Doris Miller, Marie Hemphill, a daughter Joyce, and a grandson Joey.

Blanche is survived by son Robert Ledbetter (Emmaline), grandson Robby (Brenda), granddaughter Regina (Desi), great-grandchildren Nicky, Katey, Maggie, Carson, and great-great grandchildren Tyson, and Knox.

Blanche was one of the oldest living graduates of Swannanoa High School class of 1934. She retired from the Black Mountain Neurological Treatment Center after 13 years of service, and she was a member of Christian Creek Baptist Church since 1949.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 22nd at 2:00 PM in the JV Brigman Memorial Chapel at Wilson Family Funeral Service in Black Mountain with Rev. Luther Spivey officiating. Visitation will be held after the Funeral Service. Burial to follow at Sky View Memorial Park.
