Jim, 70, passed away at 11:15 a.m., at his home.
He was the son of Paul and Mable (Piper) Beougher. He had married Clara Bruns, who divorced him Sep 28, 1999. She survives in Rockford.
Also surviving are four children: Lisa Beougher and Tonya Schumm, both Rockford, Terry Beoughter, Mercer, and Jodi (Nick) Hirschy, Monroe, IN; two brothers: Jerry (Ann), Convoy, and Dick, Celina; two sisters: Rose (Junior) Lawrence, Mercer, and Bonnie Beougher, Cincinnati; and six grandchildren: Brett and Dylan Beougher, Makenna and Mason Schumm and Emma and Chandler Hirschy.
He was a life-long resident of the area. He attended Rockford Schools and was a press operator at S&K Metal Products, Coldwater. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Willshire Sportsman’s Club. He was also a social member of the Willshire American Legion Post #207.
Services will be at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, with Pastor Ernie Suman officiating.
