SIDNEY BORGE
Funeral services for Sidney (Sid) M. Borge, 73, 1907 Knoll Drive, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Cross of Glory Lutheran church in Hartland. Interment at the church cemetery.
Mr. Borge died this morning at Good Samaritan Center.
He was born May 18, 1911 in Milroy to Sigurd and Agatha Borge.
He farmed west of Hartland most of his life. He retired and moved to Albert Lea in 1968.
He married Evelyn Beneke June 2, 1939 in Hartland.
He was also self employed carpenter. He belonged to the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, the Moose, Eagles, Solo Parents and Fountain Lake Sportsmen's Club.
Survivors include
Daughter, Carol (Ray) Petersen of Albert Lea
Son, Richard (Dick) L. Borge of Alden
Four grandchildren;
Brenda and Julie Petersen of Albert Lea
Tim and Maxine Borge of Alden
Two sisters;
Ruth (Vince) Camarano of Saugus, Calif.
Esther (Clarence) Johnson of Owatonna
Two brothers;
James of Seattle, Washington
Robert Borge of Hartland
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Norman.
